Brasscapes

Brasscapes Vol. No. 3
Arranged by: Ed Hogan

About This Product
This collection contains five tunes particularly useful for Easter and Holy Week services, but works well for general usage year round. The arrangements are crafted in contrasting styles from spirited to somber, and includes a setting suitable for processionals.

It is scored for brass sextet; with two trumpets, one horn, two trombones, and tuba. There is an optional symphonic percussion part. Substitute parts are provided for groups that may not have a French horn, and for groups that have a French horn, but only one trombone. A piano reduction is provided to facilitate rehearsals, and provide many options for covering the bass line if a tuba isn't available. Ranges and tecnical demands are suitable for good high school players with a minimum of rehearsal time.

Voicing: 2 Trumpets/1 French Horn/2 Trombones/1 Tuba/3 Percussion (opt.)
Suggested Use: Brass ensemble, especially suitable for Easter and Holy Week
