Discussion: Need "start up" help
2 | RE: Need | see Salt and Light Ministries at www.saltandlightmin.org. Jeff Smith, a Lillenas author, has several training videos. Dowell 9-1-1 has Arise My Love, which is where most groups I've seen start. It is both easy to learn and very powerful. You may be interested in the Missions in Motion with songs performed in both Spanish and English. After watching a few videos and performing some of his choreography my kids were able to start putting pieces together themselves. After doing some songs, they developed some basic ways to show similar concepts. After a while, as you listen to music, you'll be picturing stick movements to everyone. Good Luck.

1 | Need "start up" help | Hi! We're missionaries to Bolivia and we are adding Stick Drama to our drama courses.
We need help from the ground up! Can anyone point us to a resource that contains the "how to" info from choosing the proper sticks, to creating the movements to illustrate the lyric, etc...?
We are totally open to all advice, sources, and help to get this part of our curriculum up and running quickly.
We are confident that this type of drama will be a great outreach tool here in Bolivia.
Thanks! Cyn
