One Heart, Many… Many… Many… Hands
Indianapolis
Tuesday, June 21, 2005
As has been the tradition for the past three General Assemblies, thousands of Nazarene volunteers are demonstrating the love of Christ in a tangible way through the compassionate ministry project, One Heart, Many Hands (OHMH). The near east side of Indianapolis is seeing Nazarene church vans and buses invade their neighborhoods once again.
Partnering with organizations already at work in the area and led by its many volunteers, OHMH is reaching out to the elderly, disabled, and single-parent families by providing repairs and renovations to their respective homes. OHMH is also at work in Indianapolis community parks, campgrounds, Indiana State Fairgrounds, and Wishard Health Services providing clean up, organization, and restoration services. Under the direction of Gary Morsch, president of the relief and development organization Heart To Heart, OHMH runs from June 19-24.
