Junapa: First ever national NYI camp held in Panama
Junapa: First ever national NYI camp held in Panama
Panama
Friday, August 22, 2003
From July 25-27, 2003, more than 150 Nazarene youth from Panama came together to celebrate the first ever national NYI camp in Panama.

The fact that it wasn't just youth attending this event added to its uniqueness. Under the care and attention of the Sunday School Ministries of the Central District, many children participated in this great celebration.

The event marked the first activity that both districts, Central and Bocas del Toro, have been able to celebrate together. This fact coincided with the event's theme "We Are One." Many of the youth attending the event returned to their churches with a call to unity in their hearts.

Tim Brunk served as special speaker for the camp. Many youth participated in the conferences, workshops, Teen Bible Quizzing, and sports activities.

The event was produced under the leadership of José Manuel Martínez Marciaga, National President of NYI in Panama, and his team. Regional NYI President David González also played a major role.
