Regional conferences draw thousands in Brazil, Argentina
Campinas, Brazil and Pilar, Argentina
The South American Region recently held two regional conferences back-to-back. The Regional Conference-Brazil was held Wednesday, November 3 through Saturday, November 6 in Campinas, Brazil with the Regional Conference-South on Saturday, November 6 through Tuesday, November 8 in Pilar, Argentina.

The conferences brought together district superintendents, district Nazarene Youth International presidents, district Nazarene Missions International presidents, and district Sunday School superintendents from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay for practical workshops and leadership development.

Evangelism and Holiness Campaigns were held throughout both events with General Superintendent Jerry D. Porter, World Mission Director Louie E. Bustle, South America Regional Director Bruno Radi (pictured), and Campinas Central Church of the Nazarene Senior Pastor L. Aguiar Valvassoura.

On November 6, as the Brazil Conference was ending with Porter preaching in a youth evangelism service to more than 2,000 in Campinas, Bustle was preaching in an Evangelistic Campaign to 1,500 in Pilar. The two services joined for a few moments via telephone to share greetings between countries, cultures, and languages.

Other guests included NYI Director Gary Hartke, Mexico and Central America Regional Director Christian Sarmiento, and Administrative Director of World Mission Personnel Marty Hoskins.
