What does it mean to attend General Assembly?

Faafola Tenielu is Samoa District NYI President and pastor of the Lotopa Church of the Nazarene in Western Samoa on the Asia-Pacific Region. This is his second general assembly.

Tenielu states, “We're looking to developing our youth . . . spiritually . . . and for the future. Here, we see the holiness church lived out."

Oscar Medina-Guzman is superintendent of the La Libertad Chavin District in Trujillo, Peru, on the South America Region. This is his fourth general assembly.

Medina-Guzman responds, “I am very pleased to be a part of a missionary church. For me, every general assembly is a challenge to see how we can grow and what the growth of the church is like in the world.

As a delegate, it is important for me to see the development of the church."

Manuela Vera-Cruz is pastor of the Queluz Church of the Nazarene near Lisbon, Portugal, on the Eurasia Region. This is her fifth general assembly.

Vera-Cruz says, “This is a blessing to be here. I always want to come to see friends and to get a new vision of the world and its needs. We get so blessed, renewed, and ready to go back and work for Jesus."
