"Books for Pastors" receives a General NMI Convention boost
Indianapolis
Presentations for “Books for Pastors—Tools for Ministry," the 90th Anniversary for Nazarene Missions International (NMI), peppered the General NMI Convention. Not only did this cap off the first year of the project, it gave a jump-start for the second year.

Offerings, totaling $12,200, were received throughout the NMI Convention, with more funds received in the Multicultural Service on Saturday.

Another opportunity for Nazarenes to participate in this offering is the “Books for Pastor" vortex in the NMI exhibit. Children engage in light-hearted competition with their parents, with daughters dropping coins into slots and hoping their quarters travel faster than dad's nickel.

The “Books for Pastors—Tools for Ministry" Project has a goal of $3.5 million to help provide much-needed resources for non-English-speaking pastors around the world. The cost of one library for a pastor averages $500.

Note: All funds expressed in U.S. dollars.
