Cymbala to speak at NMI Prayer Brunch
Kansas City, Missouri

“What does it say about our churches today that God birthed the church in a prayer meeting, and prayer meetings today are almost extinct?" asks Jim Cymbala in his best-selling book Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire.

On Wednesday, June 22, 2005 in Indianapolis, Indiana, 1,200 mission leaders, missionaries, and delegates from 148 world areas will join together to focus on prayer and praise during the Nazarene Missions International (NMI) Prayer Brunch.

Jim Cymbala, pastor of the Brooklyn Tabernacle for more than 25 years, will be sharing the lessons he learned through prayer as the Spirit ignited his heart and began to move through his people. The author of Breakthrough Prayer and The Promise of Answered Prayer lives in New York City with his wife, Carol, who directs the Grammy Award-winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.

“Jim Cymbala is certain to inspire the NMI leaders and others at the Prayer Brunch to continue to be a people of prayer," states General NMI Director Nina Gunter.
