NNU professor conducts classes for Venezuelan Sunday School teachers

Mark Maddix of Northwest Nazarene University taught classes on Christian Education and conducted a workshop for Sunday School teachers in each of Venezuela's five districts to better equip the country's Christian education programs.

Maddix, who is a Professor of Christian Education at NNU, held the classes July 6 - 20 for 204 participants. The classes emphasized such points as planning a curriculum, making learning interactive, and teaching at the developmental level of the student.

He plans to return to Venezuela in January 2005 to conduct a workshop for CENETA professors.
