| | | Gail Blanton | | | Gail Blanton has over 20 years experience in on-going church drama ministry as director, writer, sometime actress, and conference instructor. She has authored six collections for Lillenas, as well as individual pieces. She has also been editor, compiler and writer for two collections for other publishers and has well over 100 dramatic sketches or articles on drama in various publications.
Gail is also published in the genre of poetry and has won various awards for both drama and poetry. She is a charter member of Christians in Theatre Arts and has won their sketch writing contest twice.
Gail enjoys spending time with her children and encouraging creativity in her grandchildren, watching the night sky, collecting music boxes, and laughing. She and husband, Boots, love boating and water skiing. They live in Mauldin, South Carolina, and are natives of Gastonia, North Carolina. They attend First Baptist Church where Gail serves as a member of the worship planning team. In this role she has input for creative elements in worship, including writing poetry, dramatic readings, and hymn lyrics. | | | | |
