| Camp Kirkland | | Camp Kirkland graduated from Florida State University with Bachelor and Master of Music Education degrees, and went on to teach band at the elementary, secondary and collegiate levels. He has performed on euphonium and trombone with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra,River City Brass Band and a number of touring bands and orchestras. Camp is best known for his pioneer work in reestablishing instrumental music as a viable medium in today's church. His position as Instrumental Director at First Baptist Church in Jacksonville was the first of its kind. With several hundred choral and instrumental publications, Camp Kirkland remains a leader in the church orchestra growth phenomenon. He is also much in demand as a conductor and seminar clinician. Camp is currently a free lance composer and arranger residing with his wife, Fran, in Florida. | | |
