| Scott Sturtevant | | Scott Sturtevant is an accomplished pianist, composer, arranger, and orchestrator. Until 2002, he served as Music Assistant and second pianist for Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee. During his time there, Scott composed original songs and arranged others for seasonal Bellevue productions such as The Singing Christmas Tree, Celebrate America, and The Memphis Passion Play. He was also privileged to play for the Southern Baptist Convention sessions in 1997. Since 2002, Scott has gone on to a career as a freelance musician, composer, and arranger. His projects have included producing recordings as well as sequencing custom accompaniment tracks. His compositions have been purchased and performed by churches across the country and in Canada, and he has also been commissioned by some of these churches to write original songs and do custom arrangements for their own seasonal productions. Scott received his Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida. He and his wife, Karen, have been married since 1995 and live in Memphis. | | |
