Flags of the Nations: United Kingdom
Global Ministry Center
Since September 1, 2009, the Church of the Nazarene's Global Ministry Center (GMC) proudly flies a flag each week of one of the many nations in which the denomination is present in ministry. Leaders were invited to send a national flag to be flown at the GMC alongside the flag of the United States*. The national flags rotate weekly, and photos of them raised are sent to the church leaders of that country.
This week: United Kingdom
The Church of the Nazarene recognizes the United Kingdom as one of three original home countries.
The United Kingdom had a population of 63,395,574 in 2013. That same year, it reported 81 Churches of the Nazarene, 79 of which had been officially organized. The United Kingdom has 3,687 total members.
The United Kingdom has two Phase 3 districts and is part of the Eurasia Region. For more information, visit eurasiaregion.org.
