Fifteen Nazarene Youth International (NYI) regional presidents were named Thursday, June 23, at the General NYI Convention. Before the regional presidents were named, however, Deirdre Brower Latz delivered her report as 2001-2005 global NYI president. The report was followed by a standing ovation from the hundreds in attendance.

The following individuals were elected by their caucuses to serve as regional president for the coming quadrennium:

Asia-Pacific: David Harris
Canada: Pat Wiens
Caribbean: Rudy Prescod
Central USA: Mark Holcomb
East Central USA: Roger Bonzo
Eastern USA: James Heyward
Eurasia: Tim Evans
Mexico and Central America: Joshua Jimenez
North Central USA: Brian Smith
Northwest USA: Ed Belzer
South America: Alexandre De Silva
South Central USA: Danny Dyer
Southeast USA: Michael Johnson
Southwest USA: Charles Brodhead
