Cyr new global NYI president

South Africa's Monte Cyr was elected as the next global Nazarene Youth International (NYI) president Friday, June 24 at the General NYI Convention. He succeeds Deirdre Brower Latz, who served from 2001-5. Cyr, who was elected on the seventh ballot, becomes the 18th global NYI president.
Additional NYI Convention elections included: Simone Finney (USA), global young adult member-at-large; Johanna Radi (Argentina), global senior youth member-at-large; Jennifer Wilson (USA), global early youth member-at-large. Johanna Radi is the daughter of the late Bruno Radi.
