According to the Lenexa, Kansas-based Premier Studios, 11,000 hits were logged at www.nazarene.org or www.ncnnews.com for the first service web cast June 23. For the entire 2001 General Assembly, 27,000 were registered web cast service. As of Monday, June 27, PREMIERIS has registered more than 66,000 web cast hits for the 2005 event.
In a report breaking down where it was the hits were originated, it was revealed viewers from 52 countries watched General Assembly 2005 services and/or plenary sessions via web casting. Highlighting the countries represented was China, where seven different viewers watched the web cast, and Middle East countries Kuwait and Jordan.
Countries represented, in order of number of hits, were as follows: USA, Canada, Brazil, South Africa, Mexico, United Kingdom, Germany, Argentina, Peru, Netherlands, Switzerland, Republic of Korea, Australia, Portugal, Guatemala, Philippines, Belize, Guyana, Poland, Madagascar, China, Thailand, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Kuwait, Lebanon, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, France, Japan, Hong Kong, El Salvador, Ukraine, Kenya, Costa Rica, Sao Tome and Principe, Namibia, Vanuatu, Egypt, Uruguay, Ecuador, Romania, India, Oman, Italy, Jordan, Jamaica, Spain, Paraguay, Fiji, Equatorial Guinea, Papua New Guinea.
