Evangelism In Bragado: The Launching Point in the Conquest of the West
Bragado, Argentina
For
many years the Church of the Nazarene had a dream: to reach the western
part of the Buenos Aires (Argentina) Province for Christ. In the middle
of last year, this dream of men and women who were pioneers in this
evangelistic vision still seemed far away.
“ Bragado was the goal that God showed us. It is a city of 40,000 inhabitants, powerful and hospitable, and with great agricultural, livestock and industrial resources. However, it has a social background of sadness and dissatisfaction that has placed an additional burden on our hearts. According to some statistics, Bragado has the highest index of suicides in our country.
“ From the beginning, we began to pray for this city and feel a passion for those lives that have not found hope which can only come through Him who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. God began to mobilize us and we clearly understood that when the Spirit of God moves people, there are no doors or cities that can remain closed to His purposes, goals and strategies."
