200 attend Regional conference
Quito
The 2003 South America Regional Conference drew approximately 200 delegates from the countries of Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. This is known as the region's North Andean field.

District superintendents along with Nazarene Youth International (NYI), Nazarene Missions International (NMI), and Sunday School leaders from the field's 32 districts gathered October 29 through November 3 for lectures and workshops intended to motivate, inform, and inspire. Among those in attendance were Gary Hartke from NYI, David Graves from Sunday School Ministries, Marty Hoskins from World Mission, and Jose Pacheco from World Mission Literature. Regional ministry coordinators and field directors were also in attendance.

The evening services were open to the public, drawing more than 500 participants each night. Special speakers included General Superintendent Jerry D. Porter, World Mission Director Louie E. Bustle, and South America Regional Director Bruno Radi. More than 900 people attended the Sunday service.

Regional conferences are planned for Brazil and the Southern Cone field in November 2004.
