JESUS Film enters homes in Argentina
Pilar
Residents of Pilar, Argentina recently had the opportunity to see the JESUS Film in their own homes as Altos Pilar Church of the Nazarene celebrated Holy Week with showings in more than 20 homes.

Among the more than 600 people who viewed the film, and the nearly 100 who accepted Christ, were alcoholics, drug dealers, gang members, and prostitutes. After viewing the film, those in attendance were given the opportunity to arrange a showing in their own homes.

The church held an evangelistic service organized and run by church's youth on Saturday, April 19. One hundred adolescents and young adults from throughout the area were in attendance, with 18 accepting Christ for the first time. Easter Sunday's service saw 300 in attendance, 33 of which accepted Christ.

The final JESUS Film showing, held in Barrio la Escondida, coincided with the visit of JESUS Film and Discipleship coordinators from throughout the Region. The coordinators had the opportunity to set up and show the film to an audience of approximately 45 people, comprised mostly of children and youth, while some adults watched from the doors of their homes. Several of the children accepted Christ and 13 attended Sunday School at Altos Pilar church the following day.

The church is following up with visitation and opening new discipleship groups for the new converts in many of the homes used for the JESUS Film showing. The TOBIAS videos will be the primary discipleship tool used.

Seventy three people from the church, including missionaries, participated in leadership or supporting roles in the evangelism and JESUS Film campaign that reached more than 1000 people in 10 days.
