ONU Board of Trustees unanimously grants Bowling five-year renewal
Bourbonnais, Illinois
Friday, October 7, 2005
The 2005 General Assembly marked the beginning of a new church quadrennium. With that, many changes in the global church take place resulting from the votes of the assembly.

One of the changes that normally takes place every four years is the composition of both the General Board and the Regional Advisory Councils (RAC). In the case of the Eurasia Region, the regional caucus re-elected Hans-Günter Mohn and Paul Tarrant as representatives of the Eurasia Region to the General Board. As such, they will also continue serving on the Eurasia RAC for the 2005-2009 period. The Eurasia Region announced the composition of new Eurasia Regional Advisory Council, including the following members:

 Hans-Günter Mohn, General Board clergy representative (Phase 3 districts)
 Paul Tarrant, General Board lay representative (Phase 3 districts)
 Vijai Singh, clergy representative (Phase 2 districts)
 Nadeem Ammaren, lay representative (Phase 2 districts)
 Volodymyr Masyuk, clergy representative (Phase 1 districts)
 Eleana Abad, lay representative (Phase 1 districts)
 Joel Mullen, field representative (SEE Field)
 Daniel Ketchum, field strategy coordinator (field director) representative

"We welcome these leaders to the new RAC and we trust that the Lord will use them to give counsel to the mission and strategies of the Eurasia Region for the next four years," stated Regional Director Gustovo Crocker.

World Quiz 2005 recap
Kansas City
Friday, August 12, 2005
Sundre, Alberta—Camp Harmattan, the Nazarene campground on the Canada West District, is in full "operation" this summer as it hosts campers while rebuilding. Most of the camp was damaged or destroyed by June floods.

Camp manager Steve Prendergast reports that things are going well at the camp as it rebounds. "We have all the cabins and Spruce lodge torn down and burned now," he states. "The camp is looking rather bare. The new tent structures are nearly finished and we should be ready to roll by the time our first campers start arriving. I would sure appreciate prayers these days. Most of us are totally exhausted and still grieving the losses. However, our staff members that are just arriving are very excited and full of energy."

A video of flood reaching the camp is available at the camp's web site, www.campharmattan.com.
