Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM) is introducing on-line child sponsorship. According to NCM, who is debuting this new feature in their General Assembly booth "with an amazing response," more than 100 Nazarenes have sponsored children to date.

The NCM Child Sponsorship program partners with local Nazarene churches and ministries in more than 145 world areas. Through a global network of child-focused ministries, NCM provides positive environments where children can learn about Jesus, receive health services, and are encouraged to find hope for their futures. Monthly participation by sponsors may assist in providing school fees, books, uniforms, meals, vocational training, and/or job seeking skills for young people. In most instances, sponsors will have an opportunity to write to their child and develop a meaningful relationship.

Those sponsoring children at the NCM booth receive a free t-shirt and hat, though the lasting reward of child sponsorship is much greater.
